I have a wealth of life experience and have been privileged to work with many clients from all walks of life with a variety of issues. I work with adults who may have had childhood experiences they avoided dealing with, or are overwhelmed at the moment with difficult situations and need an independent non-judgmental listener for some time and space just for themselves.
I know the power of talking therapy and the benefits, where possible, of self-improvement without medication. Emotions remain stuck within the body; not only in the heart and mind but within the nervous system and can, if continuously avoided, cause problems such as worry, disturbed sleep, disturbed appetite, low mood, depression, anxiety, low confidence, autoimmune illness, etc etc... the list goes on.
If you are suffering or struggling to cope with life at the moment or you feel you have a story to be told then Talking Therapy can be of great benefit, some quality time for yourself. Understanding yourself in relation to others or in relation to your circumstances and acceptance of the reality of a situation will help build resilience and your ability to cope.
Therapy can help individuals gain insight, build resilience and improve overall well-being. It provides a safe and confidential space for individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions and to develop coping skills. Through therapy, individuals can find balance, inner strength and take control of their lives.
Develop coping skills and resilience to handle stress and difficult life situations.
To actively engage and address past traumas or lingering emotional pain.
Improve communication skills and relationships with others.
Gain insight of ones emotions, thoughts, and behaviours.
Improve mental health and well-being, such as reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Achieve personal growth and self-improvement, and set goals for the future.
When you feel ready either phone, text or email to arrange a FREE no-obligation 15 minute initial phone introduction to see if you feel we could work together. I prefer to work face to face, but can offer phone consultations if you are unable to come to me in person.
